Thursday, October 29th, 2009Capt Adam’s ripping up the reef again on Iona II!
We headed out on Tuesday with the manager of all time from Scafflink Australia Steve (Fitzy) Fitzsimmons, Adam’s nephew Luke Jordan, Dale Green and Bob Edmond. Pumped up the guys were and lucky because Steve fought and successfully released a big girl, a black marlin 1100lb! Bob released a black marlin 350lb. We also jumped 4 black marlin and a sailfish off! The 2nd grander for Capt Adam on board the Iona II and Cuban cigars were the order of the night!

The Bus Stop Fires (again) – Linden Bank
Saturday, September 19th, 2009Being the last day fishing for Bundy and the boys we headed out early to maximise on the tides and catch the morning bite. We raised 2 and caught a black marlin around 400lb.
A very successful trip and the boys had a ball! Not sure how many of those cartons are left!
Reluctantly we leave our regular haunt tomorrow with regular client Chris Dwyer on board. We will start heading up the track a bit to do a mixture of light tackle sportfishing and marlin fishing in the middle ribbons but we will be back at ”The Bus Stop”
“The Bus Stop” Linden Bank
Friday, September 18th, 2009Trolling the Bus Stop again with big baits Capt Adam was hoping to find a big girl to match yesterdays effort!
Because of the tide scenario the bite has been in the morning, we raised 4 small fish, they didn’t have a chance downing our big baits but we did manage to catch one! Although the crew wanted to switch to smaller baits to maximise on catching the smaller fish Capt Adam being a self proclaimed “big bait specialist” gave the order from the bridge not to saying if he wanted to catch fish that size he would have stayed in Port Stephens!!!
1 from 4 lets see what tomorrow brings with the morning bite!

The biggest fish for the season so far at “The Bus Stop” Linden Bank
Thursday, September 17th, 2009Bundy & the boys boarded the boat with 11 cartons of beer and one poor guy with a suspected broken ankle from the night before! Was this going to be a fishing trip or booze cruise we thought!
Waking the boys up before lunch, bellowing from the bridge came Capt AJ’s ”nice fish” This got the boys to their feet, a huge swipe at the bait and after a great fight and some spectaular jumps a nice 650lb black marlin was released! The big girls have arrived and our first heavy tackle fish for the season and the biggest one for the fleet so far!!!
We also pulled the bait from another nice fish and raised 2 more.
The boys will be getting into those cartons tonight and well deserved!
